Note that requests may take up to 30 days to take effect. Social Media advertising which you may be seeing is typically controlled by your social media platform, so in the case of seeing repeat ads which you no longer want, please check your application's settings and preferences. 

Shipping | General

Shipping and Delivery Information:

Automotive Parts Supply: Due to the size variation, weight and uniqueness of every part available on our website shipping costs are calculated at or after checkout. You may see a special note on the item you are interested in, which will indicate to inquire for shipping or other instruction. 

(Applies to all Provinces & Territories in Canada)

Estimated Shipping Duration: We aim to process your order within 3-5 business days. Typically, shipping takes an additional 3-5 business days within Canada and the USA (lower 48) but shipping will be based on your specific requests for many items. For example, those requesting suspension, see, suspension below. 

Suspension (from Japan), in the case of most suspension the strut itself is under pressure and cannot ship on any air freight service. For this reason, suspension will ship SURFACE + tracking from Japan. 

Package Marked as Delivered but Missing: If you've reached out to your shipping provider and they couldn't locate your package, please get in touch with our customer support team for further assistance at info@sushicars.com

Order Tracking: After your order is processed and scanned, an email containing your tracking number will usually be sent to you. The tracking details will be updated once the carrier scans your package. This update might take up to 24 hours. Should you not receive a tracking email, please reach out to our Customer Support for guidance.

Address Modifications: For any corrections to your delivery address, kindly contact our Customer Support. 

Returned Orders Due to Address Issues: Should an order be returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we will get in touch with you for an address update.

Upon reshipment, a new tracking number for your order will be provided.

Air vs. Surface Freight

Depending on your location and the location of your order fulfillment office, typically Air Freight is 7-10 business days. Surface freight will be 25-90 days normally and heavily depends on cargo shipment volume. We always strive to bring you the shortest possible shipping times, because it is in our best interest to bring you what you ordered in the fastest, most economical way possible. Please note that shipping surface also means that we cannot confirm the ability to modify the ship to address at your request once the shipment has left our hands.

Typically, your local carrier will receive notification of an inbound shipment which may be idle for long periods due to the transit time from the origin carrier. This is normal and we do not offer any refund unless a shipment is market lost/flagged by the origin and destination carrier. We kindly ask you to wait the 90 days before you request an escalation from us as these communications can impact pricing and service too.

OVERNIGHT PARTS FROM JAPAN: We do offer expedited shipping "overnight" which is our fastest method and charges may vary wildly depending on the package size. Note that "overnight" only implies the quickest method, which will take between 20-72 hours (Monday to Saturday) to most destinations. 

Social Media 

Sushicars.com, Lazy Horse Media and our various social media outlets are the sole property of its owners.

Our goal is to bring people enjoyable, consumable content and grow the automotive community with regards to Japanese vehicles and the culture around them. We enjoy all vehicles and welcome people of all backgrounds, race, creed, color, demographic, religion gender or other, we do not discriminate. 

​

Any use of attempted humor which may pick on a specific trend, background or belief is never intended to hurt anyone and we welcome feedback to info@sushicars.com. Due to the nature of social media we may not see and review each comment or message through other platforms. 

​

Regarding social media and the platform we are using, other aspects of our business may show or reflect events which are fictional in nature. Should you have concerns over something you have seen either here or on a social media platform, please contact us at info@sushicars.com to ask for more information 

Past Sales - Examples 

To protect our business and customers, all sales examples given, i.e. cars sold, are to be considered changed, redacted, fictional or altered to ensure that we do not affect our customers in a negative way later on.

 

We may post a car, part or other item, either physical or digital, with a picture, which may not be the car, exact trim model or make sold, either in part or entirely in order to protect that person should they later wish to sell the vehicle on.

Unless a customer has specifically provided us permission to use the vehicle, purchase, communication or other, such as a review, this information is strictly confidential and heavily protected by Sushicars.com and its owners. 

​

We will never post your exact car, details and price actually sold for, unless you have given us your consent in advance. Should you see something too closely resembling an actual sale/transaction you had with us, please email us at info@sushicars.com or speak to your account representative or manager. 

Logo Use

Should your logo, image, brand, audio, content, personal or corporate property be in use by us and you do not consent to it, please email us at info@sushicars.com to have it promptly reviewed for removal. 

YouTube

We are committed to following the rules and guidelines or community standards for all social media platforms. YouTube videos may or may not reflect real life events, places or times. As always we strive to comply with all local laws, rules, and bylaws in the location used. If you see questionable behavior being used, first please sit down and realize it is YouTube and not the news, then, send us an email.

Communication

Sushicars and it's owners strive to have and uphold the highest standards of communication. We do not tolerate bullying, harassments, heckling, aggression, threats or violence in our communication. If you feel something has offended you, please write to use at info@sushicars.com and let us take the chance to make it right.

For those using inappropriate language, behavior, heckling, bullying or spamming, we will cease communication immediately and in the case of orders shipped but not received, the buyer shall forfeit and all right to claim from us as we will not communicate further. If a package or order has not yet been shipped out by us, the shipment will be cancelled and a refund, in full or in part, at our sole discretion may be issued.

Refund &
Exchange

We reserve the right to review and issue or refuse any refund on a case by case basis, such as where bullying and harassments or other factors are involved. However, as a general guide we hope to provide you the best service and make it right if we can:

Items and physical products (excluding vehicles)

As long as sushicars.com has not yet incurred costs for any part of this transaction a 100% refund shall be given.

 

In the case of partial casts being incurred by us, a partial refund will be issues, up to 80% of the value on invoice. 

​

Vehicles 

In the event a refund is requested we will work to ensure we do what we can to provide as full of a refund as possible. In some cases, partial service costs may already apply, but if we can cancel services and return stock, we will do our best to work with each customer and through each situation to accommodate a requested cancellation. We understand you also work hard for your money and things happen. So we will be there for you along the way!

Otherwise; Purchasing a vehicle from Sushicars.com is usually refundable prior to shipping for all costs except services rendered and stocking. For example, related reports, documents, travel or consultation charges will not be refunded. In the event we can sell the car to recover cost, you may be asked to wait for a refund or credit based on the resale of that vehicle. This can take up to 12 months to process. Note that the more unique or special a request, the harder this will be.

If a vehicle has shipped or been booked with a carrier, all sales are final and no refunds shall be given. Simply put, these are big investments and we work with large companies to deliver products, often internationally. Once things are in motion, we cannot simply divert the vehicle back to us and sometimes the cost incurred in that are more than the vehicle is worth. We kindly ask that if you have had a change of heart after this point, you let us know so we can help connect you with interested buyers through our network to help sell your vehicle in a timely manner and recover costs.

Digital Service/Consulting etc. 

​

No refund on services or digital products provided. Partial refund on services booked/not yet rendered may be considered at our discretion.

Custom Orders

99% non refundable on any orders placed which are custom in nature, such as a specific part or item brought in for a specific customer not in normal inventory (not carried in the past 12 months or more). Exceptions made for those where Sushicars.com has not yet incurred costs on our end to locate the item, where we will issue a partial or full refund will gladly be given.

Pre-Order

100% refundable if our end supplier allows it. Please inquire into the refund policy prior to purchase as this is a case by case basis due to the number of special requests we get and products we carry. 

Fee & Tariffs 

Fee schedules and tariffs such as ocean freight and services are subject to change at our sole discretion, at any time, without warning. Only services paid or quoted (unconditionally) are otherwise fixed.
