Note that some cars might not be sold from a reviewed seller, or may not be sold with a condition sheet, in this case, we will inform you and you decide if you want to proceed. It is normal and not a red flag, not always, but you remain in control all the way.

Terms & Conditions

Good Faith The customer and Lazy Horse Media shall conduct all business "in good faith". Without exception.

By accepting the terms and conditions you confirm you:

1. Are of legal age of majority in the country in which you are acknowledging the agreement


2. Are signing this waiver and release without pressure, threats or any form of duress and are of sound mind at the
time of acknowledgement

3. Release the seller from any claim, as well as any claim made on my behalf or as a result of your actions, both now
and in the future, including from, but not limited to; debtors, relatives, family, friends, representatives, partners,
agents, employees or anyone else through them.


4. Agree to indemnify and hold harmless the seller, its agents, employees, contractors, partners, representatives,
their families and friends, from any and all claims or repercussions from my decisions or any event that should
transpire as a result of this purchase.


5. Hereby agree to act in good faith at all times and be transparent with the seller when pertaining to the purchase of
my vehicle, service or item.


6. Understand that shipping times are out of the control of the seller, and may vary from quoted or forecast.


7. Understand that insurance, such as marine insurance may be offered to me, and it is my responsibility to accept
or decline the insurance, if you do not wish to take the insurance, you will hold the seller and it's partners or subsidiaries harmless from any claim.


8. Understand that claims on insurance of parts and supplies may take more than 30 days.


9. Understand that claims on insurance of vehicles may take 90 days or more.


10. Understand my rights and have either received independent legal advice, or I willfully enter into this agreement as
written, without seeking legal advice, at my own risk.


11. Accept that you are solely responsible for the vehicle condition and verification of, prior to purchase or thereafter


12. Accept that Lazy Horse Media shall act in a fair and transparent manner, and as such, if a repair is needed during
their custody of the vehicle or item, I the buyer am solely responsible for the repair, it’s costs and any associated
costs incurred by the seller or their agents which that repair has caused.
13. Accept all pages of this agreement to be legally binding

& by accepting the terms and conditions you accept that you have reviewed and agree to:

LAZY HORSE MEDIA makes no representations or warranty about the validity, accuracy, correctness, reliability, quality, stability, and/or other problems with the information, products and services they arrange.

 

LAZY HORSE MEDIA is not responsible for any delay in shipping the unit purchased/ordered. Customers are solely responsible for all transactions, including, without limitation, terms regarding payment, returns, warranty, shipping, insurance, fees, taxes, title, licenses, fines, permits, handling, transportation and storage. Under no circumstances shall LAZY HORSE MEDIA be held liable for a delay or failure or disruption of the services delivered resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, Internet failures, computer, telecommunications or any other equipment failures, electrical power failures, strikes, labor disputes, riots, insurrections, civil disturbances, shortages of labor or materials, fires, flood, storms, explosions, Acts of God, war, governmental actions, orders of domestic or foreign courts or tribunals or non-performance of third parties LAZY HORSE MEDIA reserves the right to cancel any transactions suspected of fraud/incomplete order without any notice.

Service

 

Please refer to your individual invoice for confirmation of services. Some services, such as those pertaining to locally purchased vehicles in Japan, may not be possible for vehicles ordered online which did not enter our direct custody. 

Vehicle Purchases ​

Lazy Horse Media acts as consultants. Any purchase decision remains the sole choice of the buyer. Ask questions and inspect your vehicle as fully as possible prior to purchase. Each vehicle is carefully purchased, and we are committed to selling or sending vehicles in a fully transparent manner. It is our commitment to ensure that we do our best to find this information and disclose it to the customer as early as possible. At no time shall Lazy Horse Media attempt to defraud a customer by intentionally hiding damages and shall do their best to achieve complete honesty through inspections, observations or deductions from documents, physical condition or discussions with our own partners or others, or other methods. At no time shall Lazy Horse Media intentionally deceive the customer. The customer shall also be fully transparent in business and shall also agree to never deceive Lazy Horse Media, or it's officers and agents or any representative or partner, before, during or after the transaction. Customers shall hereby accept that any damages found which were not originally reported are either new in nature, or overlooked/missed in error, and shall bare full responsibility and liability for the condition of any vehicle purchased. All sales are final unless otherwise declared on the invoice or in writing.

All Vehicles are "as is where is" condition. All sales are final. 

While Lazy Horse Media will aid and assist with informing the customer about the process where able, the sole responsibility for any import, tax, government fees, port fees or compliance required to import, such as, but not limited to, customs or customs brokerage, law, inspections, registration or state inspection, smog, out of province inspection, or other government or governing body compliance resides with the customer. Any change in regulation which occurred during the purchase, in compliance or policy, law, legislation or local rule or other is, without dispute, not the responsibility of Lazy Horse Media. The customer shall source all relevant information and documentation and shall take it upon themselves to be fully informed

No arrangement will be made to ship the vehicle to customer unless the full invoiced amount is paid in full, including all exchange rates, fees or discrepancies. Delays in receipt of vehicle to customer due to late payment, including NSF/holds or other issues shall be the sole responsibility of the customer and any associated costs or fees incurred due to this shall be paid by the customer prior to shipment, regardless of, and in addition to the original invoiced amount.

 

.Lazy Horse Media is not a lender. We do not lend, loan or extend credit to anyone unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Credit will only be considered for business-to-business sales. Payment dates or arrangements missed due any reason outside of the control of Lazy Horse Media shall be subject to; Overdue Invoice Payments which are later than 30 days, from the date due, unless otherwise agreed to in writing in advance of payment date, shall be subject to a 5% invoice surcharge which must be paid in full, in addition to the original invoiced amount prior to shipping. Surcharge is based of the invoice total amount, not the amount withstanding/remaining balance. No exceptions. Payments which are later than 60 days, unless otherwise agreed to in writing in advance of payment date, shall be subject to a 10 % invoice surcharge which must be paid in full, in addition to the original invoiced amount prior to shipping. Surcharge is based of the invoice total amount, not the amount withstanding/remaining balance, but prior to prior surcharges if they apply. No exceptions. Payments which are later than 90 days, unless otherwise agreed to in writing in advance of payment date, shall be subject to a 20% invoice surcharge which must be paid in full, in addition to the original invoiced amount prior to shipping. Surcharge is based of the invoice total amount, not the amount withstanding/remaining balance, but prior to prior surcharges if they apply. No exceptions. The full 100% of payment must be received no later than 90 days from the deposit date, or the customer will risk losing all right to claim the vehicle and shall forfeit the vehicle to Lazy Horse Media for cost recovery

WARNING: Once a vehicle has shipped, there shall be no expectation of changing any information, such as consignee, consignor or addressee for any document, item or the vehicle itself. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure all address, name, contact information, is correct, when requested by Lazy Horse Media or it's authorized agents. Any customer who plans to move or relocate or does not have a fixed address at time of shipping, which may change during vehicle transit or within no less than 12 months from time of shipping, it strongly encouraged to use an address which is fixed. Any costs associated with a change or address, including failure to deliver documents or vehicle, shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. Customers shall accept that while all best efforts are made by Lazy Horse Media to deliver their vehicle in the timeliest manner possible, all vehicles using RORO (Roll On Roll Off) also known as "car carriers" and also container loaded, will be subject to the schedules of the car carrier. Lazy Horse Media shall provide it's best and most honest estimation of shipping times, however delays to do war, disaster of natural or other nature, weather, volume or any other reason are not the responsibility of Lazy Horse Media. A general expectation should be that vehicles will take between 25 days and 70 days from leaving Lazy Horse Media Japan, and arriving at a port, such as Vancouver, BC, Canada. Other ports may be less or more, but this is a normal and expected timeline in our experience, however, sometimes may take longer.

Once a vehicle has left the control of Lazy Horse Media, any further shipping expenses shall be at the sole expense of the customer. At no time is it permitted for a customer to contact a shipping carrier, agent or service provider, other than Lazy Horse Media to inquire about their specific vehicle, as this relationship is to be exclusively maintained by Lazy Horse Media and its agents or employees only. Contacting an agent or carrier directly may result in refused or cancelled services without any right or expectation to compensation or reimbursement/return or refund, based on the severity or the contact and communication and potential or actual damages. In some cases, Lazy Horse Media or it's parent company, Lazy Horse Media, may chose to pursue legal action against those who fail to adhere to this.

Vehicles using RoRo/RORO or container shipping are typically required to be in drivable condition in order to be loaded at the port or origin. From time to time, vehicles may require repair. Vehicles which have failed to be transported under their own power, either on to the car carrier, container, port tow or other vessel, may require repairs prior to being loaded and shipped. Small repairs under $500 may be authorized by Lazy Horse Media in order to avoid delay or additional costs to the customer. Repayment of these costs is required within 10 days of invoicing. 

This may include, but is not limited to, battery replacement, fuses, switches, windows being stuck open, electrical items, engine problems or failures or other. Where able, Lazy Horse Media will contact the customer in advance to obtain authorization for repairs and give the customer the opportunity to select the repair preference they have, however $500 is typically less than returning the car from the port or storage (if able) to Lazy Horse Media, which is why this amount may be approved by default, as needed, at the sole discretion of Lazy Horse Media. The customer shall receive a report of the repairs performed, as well as any invoices associated with the repair for their records.
